It was in his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington where he met and married his wife Kathy.  They remained in Seattle while he earned his DDS from the University of Washington Dental School, and had their first two children (Colton and Camry).   Serving as a general dentist for the US Navy, they moved their young family to Okinawa Japan in support of the US Marines Corp.  There, Dr. Perrins was able to deploy on dental humanitarian missions to multiple Philippine cities, get accepted into endodontic residency, and add their third child (Sawyer) to the family.
